Omigod, you guys! Join Porch Light’s Academy as we bring the fabulously fun Legally Blonde Jr. to the stage this fall. Through professional rehearsal and performance experiences, students will develop acting, singing, dancing, teamwork, leadership, and confidence while telling the inspiring story of Elle Woods, a young woman who proves that determination, authenticity, and believing in yourself can overcome any obstacle. At Porch Light, we’re not just producing a musical — we’re #BuildingCharacters through creativity, collaboration, and personal growth both on and off the stage.
The Academy Program for grades 6-12 focuses on building characters through immersive performing arts training, guiding young performers on journeys of self-discovery and transformation. Through comprehensive rehearsals and workshops, students develop their acting, singing, and dancing skills while exploring complex narratives and diverse characters. The program culminates in fully-staged productions, showcasing the artistic growth and dynamic talents of our participants as they bring powerful stories to life.
