Studio Memberships

All studio enrollments are based on monthly memberships. By enrolling in the program, you secure your child's space in the class. Billing renews automatically via credit card every four weeks from your first class. Explore classes.

 

Private Lessons

All private lessons are offered as single sessions, 5-packs or monthly memberships (most common) in increments of 30, 45 and 60-minutes. Once you complete your enrollment, our office will contact you to set up a lesson time. Monthly members receive regularly scheduled lessons with the same instructor each week. Private lessons require 24 hour notice to reschedule that days lesson (see makeup below). To cancel a membership, we require 30-days notice. Explore lessons.

 

Academy Memberships & Enrollments

Academy Mini, Academy Jr & Academy programs are our performance-based programs and offered in three (3) sessions each season. Students may enroll for a single show, 2-show or 3-show membership. Memberships offer monthly installment plans and additional benefits and discounts on other classes. Single show enrollments are due in full upon registration. Explore Academy programs.

 

Youth Performance Troupe Enrollment

Our Youth Performance Troupe (YPT) program is an audition-only, full-year program. Enrollment is based on participation from August through June. Returning members are not required to reaudition. A deposit is required by July to confirm your space for the upcoming year. Monthly tuition installments are available and payable from August - June or members may pay in full for the year for a discount. A contract will be emailed upon acceptance to the program with further terms. Explore our YPT program.

 

Drop In/Trial Classes

Drop-in classes (single trial class) are available for all in-studio and virtual programs. There is a $25 fee ($20 for virtual) for a drop-in class and drop-ins are available on your first class only. Once you have completed your class, we will contact you to confirm your enrollment and apply your drop in fee to your first month. Enter code DROPIN when checking out. For private lessons, you may enroll in a single lesson lesson before committing to a membership. Drop in options are not available for Academy, YPT or summer camps.

 

Refunds

In the event you can no longer participate in a program, a credit will be applied for future use (see program-specific policies below). Credits must be used within one (1) year and are non-transferrable. Monetary refunds will not be issued on any monthly memberships, program registrations, camps, tickets or merchandise for any reason.

 

Cancellations

Studio Classes & Lessons - You must provide 30-days notice of cancellation. Upon cancellation, you will be provided an email confirming your last class. All billing will be suspended after your 30-day period. No monetary refunds or credits are provided for unused classes.

 

Academy - If you need to cancel your Academy enrollment, you must do so 14 days before the start of the program. Any fees paid in advance will be credited toward a future program. No credits are offered for any reason once the program has started.

 

Summer Camps - Camp registrations are non-refundable. If you can no longer attend, you may transfer to another camp provided there is room. If you are unable to transfer, a credit will be applied to a future program provided you notify us within 14 days of the start of the camp. If you cancel less than 14 days before the start of your camp, no credits will be provided and you will forfiet your registration fee.

 

School Drama Programs - All registrations are non-refundable. A credit may be applied to a future program (valid for one year) provided you notify us before the first day of the program. No refunds, credits or transfers will be applied for cancellations after the first day of the program.

 

Transfers

Studio class members may transfer to another class or program at any time, provided there is room in that session. For camps and Academy programs, you must notify us within 14 days before the start of your program in order to transfer.

 

Holds

Studio and lesson memberships may be put on hold for a period of up to two (2) months. Holds are only valid if you provide us with a restart date. Billing will be paused during your hold period and automatically renew on your restart date. If you are unable to return at the end of the hold period, our 30-day cancellation policy will apply effective with the day you provided request to hold. You will receive a final bill for this time and you may attend any class for your age group during this time.

 

Makeups

In the event your child cannot attend their regular studio class due to illness or other conflict, you may attend a makeup in any other class for your child's age group (in-studio or virtually), provided you notify the office via email within two (2) hours of your class. Private lessons must be canceled the day prior to avoid losing the lesson. Makeups must be used within six (6) months and while you remain an active lesson or studio member. All makeups expire upon cancellation of your membership.

 

Photography & Video

Porch Light instructors and staff circulate throughout classes and rehearsals taking photographs and videos for use in our daily Snapshots, marketing, website and social media. By enrolling in a class or program, you agree to allow your child's image to be used for these purposes. Names will not be posted without parent permission.

 

Holidays/Closures

In the event of inclement weather or other emergency, Porch Light wil notify families via email of any closures. We will be closed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. We may also be closed the week between Christmas and New Years as well as the full weekends of Easter and Memorial Day. Theses dates are determined each year and emails will be provided with any additional closures.
