JonJon Provan

Senior Musical Director / Voice & Instrumental InstructorJON PROVAN is a theatrical writer and musical director from Caldwell, NJ. His song cycle Coming Of Age (book/music/lyrics) enjoyed a sold-out run at the 2014 New York Musical Theatre Festival. He is the Senior Musical Director at Porch Light Productions in Glen Rock, NJ, where he has worked on dozens of shows since 2009. He received the 2013 NJACT Perry Award for Outstanding Music Direction (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) and the 2014 Perry Award for Outstanding Production of an Original Musical (Stage Fright, music/lyrics). Jon has written hundreds of songs for theatre, rock bands, and film scores, including the full soundtrack for “New Comic Day,” an upcoming feature-length motion picture (Saturday Pictures, Jupiter, FL).

Ryan Pifher

Artistic Director/Acting Coach/Drums Instructor, ryan@porchlightproductions.org Ryan is a member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA. He founded Porch Light Productions in April of 2005 and has worked as an actor, producer, director, writer, and technical engineer for over ten years. He holds degrees from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and The New School University, both located in New York City. Ryan’s work has been showcased all across the United States and has appeared in many Off-Broadway, television, and film productions. Ryan’s work was also chosen to perform for a Prejudice Education Festival sponsored by the governor of New Jersey.

Jeff WilsonJeff Wilson

Vocal Instructor/Musical DirectorOriginally from Rochester, New York, Jeff Wilson has a strong
connection and tie to Western New York State. Now located in the New
York City area, Jeff is embracing opportunities as a singer and
songwriter, as well as branching out into the world of composing music for movies and television. Jeff's musical capabilities are diverse and advanced. He is a trained vocalist experienced in musical theater, opera, oratorio and choral singing; a pianist with very strong sight-reading and improvisational skills, both as a soloist and accompanist; a collaborative conductor of school and church choirs, as well as musical theater productions; and a composer of solo vocal, choral, orchestral, piano and musical theater pieces. An example of the latter is a two act musical that he composed entitled “Immortally Yours” which was produced in workshop in Rochester, New York. Jeff is a self-motivated, driven, and passionate individual. Although his college degree program at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York focused on vocal music education, for over twenty years Jeff has immersed himself in the musical theater world as both a performer and director. This has developed his versatility, giving him background and expertise in all aspects of putting on quality productions, including working successfully with people of all ages and dispositions.
