  • Ryan

    Ryan Pifher

    Artistic Director, ryan@porchlightproductions.org Ryan founded Porch Light Productions in April of 2005 and has worked as an actor, producer, director, writer, and technical engineer for over ten years. He holds degrees from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and The New School University, both located in New York City. Ryan's work has been showcased all across the United States and has appeared in many Off-Broadway, television, and film productions. Ryan's work was also chosen to perform for a Prejudice Education Festival sponsored by the governor of New Jersey.

  • Jenn

    Jenn Pifher

    Managing Director, jenn@porchlightproductions.org
    Jenn oversees creative marketing and manages the day-to-day operations for PLP. She is also the owner and creative director of Porch Light Media, a web and graphics firm. Prior to joining forces with Ryan Pifher in the ownership of Porch Light, Jenn held executive positions in various areas of the performing arts. As the Campaign Manager for the Allied Arts Fund, Jenn raised money and awareness for over 30 arts organization in Central PA (including the youth ballet, theatre, symphony & others). Jenn was also the Director of Marketing & Communications for an 800-seat performing arts center in Hanover, PA. During this time, she managed marketing, advertising and graphic design for over 35 annual performances, three fundraising events and three children’s performing arts programs. Jenn is an active volunteer in the community and serves on committees for several local events.

    Jon Provan

    Senior Musical Director / Voice & Instrumental InstructorJON PROVAN is a theatrical writer and musical director from Caldwell, NJ. His song cycle Coming Of Age (book/music/lyrics) enjoyed a sold-out run at the 2014 New York Musical Theatre Festival. He is the Senior Musical Director at Porch Light Productions in Glen Rock, NJ, where he has worked on dozens of shows since 2009. He received the 2013 NJACT Perry Award for Outstanding Music Direction (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) and the 2014 Perry Award for Outstanding Production of an Original Musical (Stage Fright, music/lyrics). Jon has written hundreds of songs for theatre, rock bands, and film scores, including the full soundtrack for “New Comic Day,” an upcoming feature-length motion picture (Saturday Pictures, Jupiter, FL).

  • Kevin

    Kevin Milnes

    Musical Director/Voice & Piano Instructor/Choreographer Kevin is happy to be back east after a few years in Denver and Phoenix. He has worked as an actor and director across the country in regional theaters and has been seen Off-Broadway and on television and film. Kevin studied Theatre Performance at Wagner College in New York and is also a composer for musical theatre. He has taught private voice and piano in his personal studio in New York and Colorado as well as at the Loveland Academy of Music. In Phoenix, he worked with the the Phoenix Center for the Arts as an acting, music, and dance instructor for youth. Currently he is also teaching at The Rock Underground in Greenwood Lake, NY. He is thrilled to be part of the team at Porchlight!

  • Paige

    Paige Kiliany

    Teaching Artist/Director/Choreographer Paige is a director and choreographer who has worked professionally in New York, Washington D.C., Pittsburgh and Houston. She grew up performing in musicals and holds a BFA in Directing from Carnegie Mellon University. Her professional credits as an assistant include the original production of the Sheryl Crow/Barry Levinson musical Diner, The Threepenny Opera, The Lady from Dubuque, Jekyll and Hyde and many others. She is a recipient of the 2014 Kurt Weill/Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation Fellowship and an Associate Member of the SDC. Paige was also named one of Houston Press' 2014 Top 100 Creatives and received nominations for Best Director for the 2015 Broadway World-Houston Awards as well as the 2016 Houston Theater Awards. She has worked with children of all ages and is passionate about arts education.

    Allison Scott

    Choroeographer Allison is an actor/singer/dancer from Summit, NJ, and the resident choreographer for the Youth Performance Troupe and various other shows at Porch Light Studio, Stage & Schools. This spring she will receive her BFA in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University. She has also choreographed and taught at French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts. Selected choreography credits include: 42nd Street, The Drowsy Chaperone, Stage Fright, Cracked!, Aida, The Addams Family, and Bonnie & Clyde. As a performer, Allison's credits include Beauty and the Beast (Belle), Hair (Crissy), West Side Story, 42nd Street (Peggy Sawyer – Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Nomination), and many more. Allison is a YoungArts 2014 winner for musical theatre.

    Nicole Karrs

    Teaching Artist (Acting & Music)Nicole is thrilled to be working at Porch Light! She is a graduate of Muhlenberg College, double-majoring in Music (Vocal Performance) and Theatre (Acting Concentration).  She studied classical music abroad in Vienna, Austria and was fortunate enough to be a part of the IES Abroad Music Performance Workshop.  Nicole recently made her debut as Nellie Forbush (South Pacific), and Giovanna (Rigoletto) with Central Florida Lyric Opera.  She has also worked as an emerging artist with Northern Lights Music Festival, Nickel City Opera, and Miami Music Festival. Some of her favorite roles include Betty Paris (The Crucible), Mrs. Hildabrand (Street Scene), Cherubino (The Marriage of Figaro) and The Second Witch (Dido and Aneas). In her free time, Nicole also works as a cantor and featured soloist in the Northern New Jersey area, as well as teaches voice, acting, and music appreciation to all ages.

    Rob Gannon

    Teaching Artist/Musical Director/Private Voice Instructor Robert has been music directing, composing, and directing for educational theater programs for over 10 years. He is a multi-instrumentalist with a degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey. When not teaching, he still enjoys performing in live theater and cabarets. Some of his favorite credits include Geek!, City of Angels, Shrek, and The Sound of Music.

  • Brad

    Brad McMurray

    Musical Director / Voice & Instrumental Instructor Bradley McMurray has been working as an accompanist and teacher for 9 years. He studied Classical Piano and Voice at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY where he received a BM in Music Education. Bradley has worked hard at educating students of all ages throughout his music career, teaching Band, Choir, General Music, and Private instrument lessons at different school locations across the Tri State Area. Bradley has always had a love for music in the theatre. He was featured in multiple roles in high school as well as playing piano for other productions. He recently performed the role of Archibald Craven in the Hexagon Players production of Secret Garden. Bradley was part of the Eastman School of Music's select choir (Chorale) which performed large scale works for orchestra and choir and travelled to perform at different choir festivals and performances, including a concert version of Howard Hanson's Merry Mount at Carnegie Hall. Bradley has had many opportunities to work with different groups of singers. He has conducted/accompanied multiple school choirs, church choirs, and show choirs. He also works with singers one on one in coaching's and in recital. Bradley's love for music spans across all different types of music and he has experience performing and teaching in many styles including, Jazz, Rock, Classical, Pop, Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre.

    Stevie Elle

    Teaching Artist/Director/Choreographer Stevie is a Colorado native with a degree in musical theatre from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. For the past decade she has been consistently working with children and adults alike in full scale musicals, cabarets, acting workshops, and private dance. Some favorite credits include; Razia’s Shadow (Thriftshop Productions), Fame! (JCC of Bayonne), and West Side Story (Van Horn Performance Theatre).

  • Katie

    Katie Corcoran

    Administrative Assistant Katie graduated from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, studying Communications and Theatre Studies. She has worked on many productions on the stage management team, including Into the Woods, Assassins, and Avenue Q. She currently performs in community theatre in the North Jersey area, and directs middle school students in a One Acts festival. She also has taught theatre enrichment, worked birthday parties and summer camps, and oversees middle school drama/improv club. She is very passionate about theatre arts education and is thrilled to be able to live it every day at Porch Light!

    Madi Kuder

    Teaching Assistant/Production Assistant Madi is thrilled to be a member of the team! She has studied dance for 12 years and has experience in various areas of theatre production, including set design, costume design, sound as well as choreography. Teaching/production credits include Peter Pan Jr (Choreographer/Sound Technician), Lion King Jr (Set Designer), High School Musical (Costume Designer). Recent performing credits include Tituba (The Crucible), Mr. Darbus (High School Musical) and a featured dancer in Beauty and The Beast.

    Kasi Howes

    Teaching Assistant Kasi graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a BA in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Musical Theatre. She also minored in Dance and Communication Studies. She is happy to be a part of the Porch Light team, sharing her theatre experience with the students. She enjoys choreographing and directing shows and is excited for the upcoming season! Kasi is involved in local community theatre and some of her favorite performance credits include Dory in School House Rock, The Queen in Cinderella, Amy in Little Women, and Joanne in Godspell. She loves being a part of the Porch Light team!

    Zach Pizza

    Resident Lighting Designer Zach is always happy to be working with the PLP family having been around since the 2013-2014 season.
