RIDGEWOOD - Another performance of the Chamber of Commerce's Shakespeare in the Park is in the books despite the sweltering heat Sunday afternoon.

The show, which was put on by four summer interns from Porch Light Productions in Glen Rock for the fifth straight year, was "definitely a success," according to Ryan Pifher, the company's artistic director and founder. This year's show "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged," fits all 37 of the famed playwright's works into a 97-minute performance, according to the Chamber.

"We chose this show as we were looking to try something different," Pifher said. "We wanted to keep with our Shakespeare in the Park theme but thought a modern play that reenacted all of his works would be a nice change."
