PLP Honored with 2 Perry Awards Nominations

(August 3, 2016 - Glen Rock, NJ) - Porch Light Productions, a black box theatre in Glen Rock, NJ specializing in live theatre and professional theatre training, has been nominated for two New Jersey Association of Community Theaters (NJACT) Perry Awards. The NJACT celebrates outstanding achievements by artists of all disciplines involved in the performance and production of NJ Community Theater. Winners will be announced at the annual ceremony September 18 in Somerset, NJ.

Porch Light is honored to have received the following nominations:

OUTSTANDING PRODUCTION OF AN ORIGINAL MUSICAL - Cracked! (Book, Music & Lyrics by Jon Provan)
OUTSTANDING YOUTH ACTRESS IN A MUSICAL - Kate Landino, Little Women

Porch Light has won several awards since it's first season in 2009, including Outstanding Production of a Play (RED), Outstanding Production of an Original Musical (Stage Fright), Outstanding Lighting Design (Zach Pizza, RED), Outstanding Direction of a Musical (Ryan Pifher, Spelling Bee), and Outstanding Musical DIrection (Jon Provan, Spelling Bee), among others.
